If they need two trees to hang their hammocks ‘tween, any yawnin’ sea slugs should set ther’ courses fer Chanty Shantey, and make themselves at home. Championship Update: Battle of Nimbus Station Winners!

This just in: The third round of the 2011 Nexus Force Championships is over!

This time, the challenge was a test of speed, stamina and Stromling-squashing! The winners were chosen based on who was the fastest to pass all 29 stages of the Battle of Nimbus Station mini-game.

And the winners are...

In the 12 and under category, ShivanLegend of the Overbuild Server, takes home the gold with an astonishing finish time of 10:10! Tied for gold is Squarebrick of the Overbuild Server! Coming in second place with a time of 10:13 is KingOfBuilders of the Overbuild Server!

In the 13 and over category, onebigdragonslayer and bellacrusader, both of the Overbuild Server, tie for gold! They demolished all Maelstrom in only 10:10 minutes! Not to be outdone, ShadowBane of the Overbuild Server proves his Championship Spirit and takes the Silver with a finish time of 10:13!

For their impressive display of battle mastery, these winners received LEGO Ninjago sets, Championship Points and honor!

We are very sad to announce that LEGO Universe will be closing on Janurary 31, 2012. This was a very difficult decision to make, but unfortunately LEGO Universe has not been able to attract the number of members needed to keep the game open.

We are thankful to have had the opportunity to share this adventure wiith an amazing community of players. We hope you will continue to enjoy LEGO Universe for the last few months. Though one Championship event is over, many others remain. This weekend’s competition? A test of speed, stamina, and Stromling-squashing – a breathtaking adventure through the folds of space and time – an epic test in the Battle of Nimbus Station.

Championship Build Contest 1: Spooky Property!

Zis year, my business? It has been good. Very good. Good enough zat I have begun thinking of building my own home, can-you-imagine-that! Unfortunately, I vill need your help.

Ven it comes to clothes, I am ze master. From Nimbus Station to ze Venture Explorer, I am hailed as ze Sultan of Suits and ze undisputed Poobah of Pantaloon-production. As a tailor, I am unmatched. But as a builder? Let’s just say Dr. Overbuild has banned me from ze Assembly Annex.

Zat’s where you come in. I vant you to build my dream home. Creaking floorboards… a refurbished coffin cellar… A cemetery for my nieces and nephews to frolic in. I vant it to be especially spooky – but also refined and classy!

Rutger Hemoglobin wants a new house, but he’s not sure how to build it! Should it be the most colorful? The scariest? The smallest? The one that will scare Duke Exeter out of his armor? It's up to you to decide.

To help, we've asked Rutger to come up with some inspirational art to give you a few ideas!



Over the next three weeks, you will build Rutger's new home on a property of your choice. The house must be built in game but can be built on any property map and have pictures submitted to the Creation Lab!

After November 5, the LEGO Universe judging team will pick properties from the entries on the Creation Lab to visit in game. We will judge the properties in-game, by bringing our Minifigures on a haunted house tour! If we can't get to your property, we won't be able to consider it for judging!

Free to Play Players can compete in this competition by building on their Block Yard properties in Avant Garden. Members can build on any property they can access.

Get Ready for the 2011 Championships!

This weekend, the 2011 Nexus Force Championships kick off with the first Build Event! Minifigures will also compete in mini-game events starting next weekend. Participating in each event will earn Nexus Force Championship Points which will determine the 2011 Nexus Force Champion!

Some Championship events are located in Members Only zones, such as the Cannon Cove Shooting Gallery in Gnarled Forest or the Dragonmaw Chasm Racetrack in Forbidden Valley. While Free-to-Play Minifigures can participate in the Avant Gardens Survival contest and the Build Events, your chances to be crowned the true Champion will skyrocket by becoming a Member of LEGO Universe to unlock all of the Championship event zones!



How to win!

Each event will be held similar to our contests in the past. You will participate in a mini-game, a racing event, or building event. However, along with cool prizes, you will also win Nexus Force Championship points!

These points will be added up over the Championship period. In mini-game and racing events, the first place winner in each age group will get 4 Nexus Force Championship points. 2nd through 4th will get 3 Nexus Force Championship points and 5th through 10th will get 2 points. Everyone else gets 1 point.

This means that even if you are in last place, you still have a good chance, as you can get more points the following week!

As build events take three weeks (plus one week for judging), they offer slightly more points as a reward.

The Nexus Force Champion should be the best overall player, and this scoring system will allow the players who are best in all aspects of LEGO Universe to rise to the top.

On Tour with LEGO® KidsFest!

LEGO® KidsFest is on the road, touring along the East Coast with stops in 3 cities before Christmas! First stop on the tour is Raleigh, North Carolina from October 7-9.



LEGO KidsFest is a real activity-packed event with something fun to do for every member of the family. And we’re excited to be there with a booth big enough to entertain 24 online game-playing kids at a time!

Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu is Now Available!

Are you ready to become a master of Spinjitzu? LEGO Universe is spinning an epic tale on the all-new world of Ninjago!



The Ninjago Monastery is under attack by Skeletons! And not just any ol’ boneheads – this Skeleton army, under the control of the evil Lord Garmadon, is geared up with deadly Maelstrom weapons and armor!

These fierce Maelstrom Skeletons are laying siege to the Ninjago Monastery for one reason – well, make that four. The Four Weapons of Spinjitzu! Can you find and protect them all from the Skeletons’ bony clutches?

The Ninjago Monastery zone features the following areas:
• Ninjago Battlefield: The Skeletons are attacking the Monastery – and only you can smash them with Spinjitzu! Build Archery Targets to launch volleys of Imagination-tipped arrows, surprise the Skeletons with a fire-breathing Dragon-in-the-Box, or fling yourself to safety by rebuilding a massive Skeleton Catapult!

• The Monastery Courtyard: Inside the Monastery’s fortified walls, things are a little more peaceful. You’ll find some familiar friends – Sensei Wu and Nya – as well as some brand-new Ninjago characters and vendors.

• The Four Gardens of Spinjitzu: Explore peaceful, mysterious gardens of Earth, Lightning, Ice and Fire. Each one contains a different puzzle – can you master them to claim the protective Dragon Relics for Sensei Wu?

• The Four Dojos of Spinjitzu: Cole, Jay, Zane and Kai await you in four Dojos, each one devoted to a different element of Spinjitzu. And each Dojo contains its own set of traps, platforming challenges and multiplayer puzzles in the Attics up above!

• The Ninjago Caverns: There’s a rumble in the mysterious Caverns below the Monastery! It’s Skeletons vs Ninjas, and the prize is definitely worth fighting for: the Weapons of Spinjitzu! Battle Bone Wolves and Skeleton Mad Scientists to discover the Shrines of Spinjitzu, and then face the fearsome fury of Chopov, Krazi and Bonezai!

• Frakjaw Battle!: The action is really heating up inside the Fire Shrine! Frakjaw is trying to claim the Sword of Fire, and he’s brought a lot of bony back-up with him! Luckily, you can bring up to 3 friends to face him down in this epic boss battle instance!
