Just looking at this group of heroes, I could sense that they were skilled warriors, well-practiced in battle both solo and together as one unit. Their movements were so in sync, so tuned that they appeared to be 4 bodies sharing a single mind!
First, the wild whip-wielding Adventurer used his Path Cutter skill to make the team as fast as lightning! They ran circles around Stromlings with unnatural speed, or my name’s not Heimlich Stewblaster! Using my bag of eye-popping popcorn, which boosts my vision by 600%, I was able to keep up with the group, but only barely. I would share some with you, except I was so excited that ate it all. Sorry about that.
That white blur! That was the Space Ranger, making his first move with Gravity Well. Carrots of Courage... he created a black hole that pulled a dozen Invaders into one spot! Using his Zipgun, he hit the entire mob, taking advantage of the unique splash damage feature of his high tech blaster. With a wink he finished his foes with a Sentinel Blast – unleashing a mighty wave of stored energy that smashed all enemies in its path!
With that group of Maelstrom obliterated like a hot knife through butter, the Team made their way further through the rocky terrain. Far ahead, a nest of Dark Spiderling Invaders crawled towards them nervously. After taking only the briefest moment to nod knowingly at his teammates, the Shinobi suddenly disappeared in a puff of smoke, reappearing right in the faces of the surprised arachnids! Without hesitation he slashed with his dual katanas, then unleashed a volley of stars, shiny prettily against the glow of the Maelstrom… the famed Shuriken of Kintamo! As calm as he is skilled, the Shinobi proved he is a powerful force that demands respect – he stops battling only to restore Imagination to his Team or reflect on the nature of the Universe.
As the Shinobi and Space Ranger led the charge, the Inventor and Adventurer followed closely behind their teammates, using their unmatched support skills to restore Life and Armor Points to their comrades during the heat of the battle. Though they boast ample offensive abilities themselves, these veteran Stromling-squashers chose to remain behind their allies – restoring their health and replenishing their armor with tact and wisdom.
And then it happened - the Inventor pulled out a brightish yellow contraption that – I kid you not – launched a mass of bees at the Maelstrom! His mysterious aura seemed to damage any Maelstrom that dared to wade through his bee legion to attack him up close! Always up to help out his friends, the Adventurer used his ranged Crossbow to take down the would-be Inventor-smasher from a mid-range distance, while his off-hand hovered just above his handy whip, ready to stun any Maelstrom should the Crossbow not be enough.
These guys are the real deal. Not only can they keep their teammates healthy and refreshed from a distance – they’re also ready to jump in to deliver that added umphf! at any given moment!
Using their cunning strategy, these 4 heroes managed to plow their way deep through Aura Mar, and soon faced the terrifying Butterscorch! Now that was an intense battle. Ah! A customer? My tale will have to come to a pause for now – there are thirsty Minifigures waiting! To them, ol’ Heimlich and his Thirst Quenchers are the heroes!
