Recolor one of your pets using one of your properties and take a screenshot of its dazzling new look – the top twenty pet designers will receive special in-game prizes and enough LEGO Minifigure sets to populate your own personal Brickopolis!
To enter, simply follow these steps:
1. Tame an animal of your choice.
2. Head into one of your properties and put on your Thinking Hat.
3. Find your tamed pet model from the Models section of your backpack and place it on the ground.
4. Click the Brick Build option at the bottom of your screen (the one with the white 2x2 LEGO brick icon). WARNING! – altering your pet model in Brick Build will cause it to no longer be useable as a pet in the rest of the Universe.
5. Using the “Color” option at the bottom of your screen and the “Color Picker” just above your backpack, create a cool and unique design for your pet.
Once your pet has been created, snag a screenshot of it and send it in to your age group’s Creation Lab (12 & under and 13 & older )to enter it!
Feel free to get creative with your screenshot by, say, including multiple colored pets, or staging your photo shoot with the dazzling backdrop of one of your more scenic properties. Instead of photographing just one bright orange and red buffalo, for example, why not show us a multicolored stampede? Maybe your jet-black recolored lion looks most ferocious when sitting in your Maelstrom Lair? The more intriguing your screenshot looks, the better your chance to win! You have between August 18th and August 25th to submit!

How to take a screenshot from a PC:
1. Press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
2. Go to your "My Documents" folder and open up the "LEGO Creations" folder. Inside you will find a "Pictures" directory, which will contain all of your LEGO Universe screenshots! The most recent picture will be your screenshot that you have just taken!
3. Submit your screenshot through the 12 & Under Creation Lab or 13 & Older Creation Lab.
How to take a screenshot from a Mac:
1. Hold down the "CMD" and "SHIFT" keys.
2. Press the number "3" key. The screenshot will automatically be saved to your desktop.
3. Submit your screenshot through the 12 & Under Creation Lab or 13 & Older Creation Lab.

2. HOW TO ENTER:
Take a screenshot of a recolored LEGO Universe pet using one of your properties and send it in to the LEGO Universe team by the specified date. Screenshots of the entry must be submitted through your age group’s LEGO Universe Creation Lab on http://www.legouniverse.com between Thursday, August 18 and Thursday, August 25 11:59 PM MST. You many submit as many entries as you like, but no entrant will be awarded more than one prize. The time required to complete the necessary tasks will vary with the skill of the entrant. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received, and the skill of the entrant.
3. HOW TO WIN:
Once your Creation Lab entry has been approved, you will be automatically entered into the drawing; there is nothing more you need to do. Winners will be selected by a panel of Judges from the LEGO Universe Judge Team, and will be notified by the Team. Entries will be judged based on originality and creativity of the entrant’s interpretation of the Faction theme. Decisions will be based on the subjective opinions of the Judges, and will be final.

4. ELIGIBILITY:
This promotion is open to residents of the 50 United States plus the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada, except for the Province of Quebec. Additionally, eligibility is limited to those who have not won a prize from any LEGO Universe promotion in the 30 days prior to the Prize Award date.

7. GENERAL RULES:
Winners will be notified by email to the winner's email address of record.
No substitution of prize or transfer of prize to another person is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the unlikely event that the intended prize is not available, or in order to award a prize appropriate for the age of the winner.
All submissions become the property of the LEGO Group. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the winning entry to make it technically suitable for the game.
All decisions of the Judges are final.
All income taxes and fees and/or duties, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of each winner.
In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
If an entrant submits more than the stated number of entries permitted, or if the Sponsor suspects that an entrant attempted to obtain additional entries by using multiple email addresses, registrations, identities, or any other method, all entries submitted by the entrant will be declared null and void.
